Snoozo’s koala family introduces Sunny, a human-shaped puppet wearing a teal shirt and golden shorts, for a head-to-toes adventure.

Grandma Blossom brought Sunny, a human-shaped puppet in a teal shirt and golden shorts. Grandpa Oak, Mum Fern, Dad Moss and Zippy gathered round. “We are koalas,” said Grandma. “Sunny helps us learn about human bodies.” Snoozo peeped over his moon cushion. “Hello, head!”

Talk together: Find Sunny’s head on the picture. You can point, say the word or imagine it. Stay comfortably seated; touching your own body is optional.

Grandpa points to the human puppet’s head while the family explores the eyes and ears on its face.

Zippy found Sunny’s eyes. Grandpa found Sunny’s ears. “Eyes help many people see. Ears help many people hear,” said Mum. Grandma waved a red leaf. Dad rang a little bell softly. “Eyes for the leaf, ears for the ding!” Snoozo said.

Talk together: Point to Sunny’s eyes and then ears. Say “eyes” and “ears”, or let a grown-up say them with you.

Mum holds an orange beside Sunny’s human-shaped face as Snoozo and Zippy look on.

Grandma held an orange near Sunny. “A nose helps us smell.” Grandpa pointed to the puppet’s mouth. “A mouth can open for words or food. The tongue inside helps us taste.” “Can Sunny eat my cushion?” asked Snoozo. “Only pretend oranges today!” laughed Zippy.

Talk together: Find the nose above Sunny’s mouth. Imagine an orange smell. There is no need to taste or smell a real object.
