Snoozo thinks a soft white cloud looks like his pillow.

The family rested on a dry blanket in the clearing. Snoozo held his moon cushion and watched a soft white cloud. “A giant pillow!” he said. “The sky must be getting ready for a nap.”

Talk together: Point to the cloud. Say “I can see a cloud.” What does its shape remind you of?

Zippy sees a boat in the cloud, but Snoozo is sure it is a pillow.

“I can see a boat,” said Zippy, pointing at the same cloud. Snoozo shook his head. “No. It is a pillow.” “A boat!” “A pillow!” Their lovely sky game was turning into a very small argument.

Talk together: Can two people imagine different things in the same cloud? Listen to each person’s idea without choosing a winner.

Snoozo sees that arguing about the cloud has spoiled their game.

Zippy folded her paws. “I do not want to play now.” Snoozo looked at her, then at the cloud. He liked his pillow idea. But he did not like making her boat disappear.

Talk together: How could Snoozo keep his own idea and welcome Zippy’s idea too?
